I love photographing social events because they offer a great opportunity for creativity and just plain ol having fun with the lens, no rules, no preconceived shots, which the rebel in me loves.AIGA Orlando holds a special place in my heart since in my previous “life,” I was a designer and a chair member for the Orlando chapter; I was the event photographer. So when one of my favorite dudes Jeff Matz from the badass Lure Agency  asked me if I would be interested in covering the event, I was happy and honored to do so. Plus, it was being held at one of my favorite spots in town for the creative arts, Orange Studio 4 Rent owned by Julio Lima. When you get a chance, check them out. Julio Lima was my mentor a long time ago. His studio is a prime spot to show case any gallery or show. When I am there,  I always feel like I am in a cool New York warehouse spot.

The ONE show is a huge deal, as it travels through out the states bringing some of the world’s best design work in the world of advertisement. It was a night full of seeing old friends, and meeting a few new ones, including some that said they knew me.  I found out we went way back on Facebook– haha. The night was caped with two presentation from One Show award-winner Bob Meagher, Senior Vice President and Senior Copywriter at The Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia (and one of the creators of the GEICO campaign), and Yash Egami, Editor-in-Chief of The One Club and One a magazine. I am so very glad to share all these image with you.
